Ozark National Scenic Riverway

I went to Ozark National Scenic Riverway during Spring Break 2005 with Carol and Dave. The Ozarks are located in Missouri, which is about 10 hours from Appleton. We had quite a few adventures and a lot of fun!

We started our trip at midnight on Monday/Tuesday. We drove through the night and into the morning until we reached the park.
Using the hand dryer in the heated bathroom to blow up the air mattress.
A view of our campsite. We were the only ones camping.
This path leads back up to the campground.

This river was located near our campground.

A small waterfall near Big Spring.

Carol and Dave near Big Spring.

The green stuff and the water were both very bright.

Dave found a racoon in the dumpster. Notice the stick; Dave is poking the racoon
We stayed in a really nice suite in Van Buren, MO our second night.
We took a canoe trip down the Current River

We stopped in St. Louis on the way home to see the Arch.
